  • 1954.5 Changshu Farm Tool & Bamboo Products Manufacturing Collective (one of the original companies of Tongrun Group) was founded.
  • 1958.8 Changshu Chengxi Hardware Factory (one of the original companies of Tongrun Group) was founded. Its name was changed to Changshu Yushan Machine Factory later.
  • 1968.12 Changshu Yushan Machine Factory succeeded in developing its first QY32T hydraulic jack.
  • 1974.10 Changshu Jack Factory was established and appointed as Jack-Export Enterprise by China Foreign Trade Ministry and China Machinery Ministry.
  • 1980.9 Our 3 Ton Bottle Jack won the China Silver Medal.
  • 1984.4 Changshu General Electric Appliance Factory was established to reach and develop high and low voltage switch boxes.
  • 1985.3 Changshu Elevator Traction Machine Factory was established to reach and develop elevator traction machines.
  • 1989.4 Changshu Tongrun Machinery & Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd (Joint Venture with foreign investment) was established.
  • 1989.8 Changshu Tongrun Elevator Factory was established to develop and produce elevators.
  • 1990.5 We exported our first 3 Ton Heavy Duty Floor Jacks to Allied International Inc. USA through Taiwan Yisheng Company.
  • 1991.5 Changshu Tongrun Jack Casting Factory was established.
  • 1992.10 We exported our 3 Ton Heavy Duty Floor Jacks to Sears Inc. USA through Taiwan Yisheng Company.
  • 1993.8 Torin Jacks Inc. was set up in Los Angeles, USA
  • 1995.4 The company was awarded as One of Top Ten Machinery Industrial Enterprises in China. The compa ny was awarded as Outstanding Machinery Enterprise of China.
  • 1996.2 Jiangsu Tongrun M & E Group Co., Ltd. was established.
  • 1996.6 Changshu Tongrun tool cabinet Factory was established in 2002.
  • 1997.7 Tongrun Group was checked and approved by ISO9001 Quality Control System.
  • 1998.2 Tongrun Group established Jiangsu Tongrun M & E Group Co., LTD Hebei Chengde Jack Factory by controlling its stock shares.
  • 2000.11 Torin Jacks Inc. was ranked 54th of The 100 Fastest Developing Enterprises in Los Angeles.
  • 2001.3 Tongrun Group's Hydraulic Jacks, Elevators and High and Low Voltage Switchers were awarded as Jiangsu Province Brand Name Products.
  • 2001.9 The Company was awarded as The Top Thirty of The Most Competitive Enterprises in China Machinery Industry in 2000.
  • 2002-2004 Our brand of "TONGRUN" was awarded twice as The China Brand Names for Exporting by China Commerce Ministry.
  • 2002.9 Tongrun Group's "Shanghai Tongrun Import and Export Co., Ltd." was founded in Jiaxing Mansion Pudong, Shanghai.
  • 2003.1 Tongrun Group realized the management at the Group
    level: Decision-Making Level, Supervising Level and Managing Level.
  • 2003.9 Tongrun Group was listed as Jiangsu High-Tech Enterprises.
  • 2004.5 Tongrun Group's Changshu Auto Accessory Co., Ltd. was moved to our new facility in Changshu Economy Development Zone, New Longteng Industrial Area.
  • 2004.5 Tongrun Elevator Traction Machine Factory was awarded as "China High Technology Enterprise", and its Endless Magnetic Synchronized Gearless Traction was awarded as "China Torch Projects in 2004" by China Science and Tech Ministry.
  • 2004.5 Our Chengde Tongrun Car Accessory Co., Ltd. was founded, and moved to a new facility.
  • 2004.7 Tongrun Group's Changshu General Electronic Appliance Factory was moved to our new facility In Changshu Economy Development Zone, Haiyu Industrial Area.
  • 2004.10 Tongrun was awarded as one of "Top Ten Best Investment-Return Enterprises In China Key Industries".
